The Executive Director of ARL:UT reports to the Vice President for Research at The University of Texas at Austin. As shown in the chart above, ARL:UT´s research program is organized around four component laboratories. These are the Advanced Technology Laboratory, Environmental Sciences Laboratory, Signal and Information Sciences Laboratory, and the Space and Geophysics Laboratory. Assistant Directors for support areas such as facilities, accounting, contracts, purchasing, human resources, educational programs, public relations, and information technology report to ARL:UT´s Associate Director for Research Support. ARL:UT´s internal basic research and development program is managed by the IR&D Coordinator.
