One of our goals for the 2.0 release of opt_depot is to make the software easier to use by providing an explaination of the concepts underlying its design. The following documentation should help illustrate why we here at ARL developed opt_depot in the first place, how a depot system of software managment works, and why we chose to include certain features in the program.
