APPLICATION
*Must be a graduating high school senior who will attend a senior college in Fall 2013 *Must be available to work June 10 through August 7, 2013 (Unpaid time off is allowed for attendance of freshman college orientation, otherwise there are no exceptions to the policy.) *Must have applied to The University of Texas at Austin *Must be a U.S. Citizen
Completed application packets must be received no later than March 1, 2013. Any applications received after this date will not be considered. 1. Download and complete (1) an ARL Apprenticeship Application, (2) a UT Austin Student Application and (3) a Skills Inventory Form. 2. Email these three documents along with a Resume (see sample) to Christy Habecker (habecker@arlut.utexas.edu). 3. Mail an official, sealed transcript (which includes class rank and GPA) from your high school, as well as copies of your SAT/ACT scores to
Students are selected on the basis of their academic records, Scholastic Aptitude Test results, written applications, and chosen college major. Preference is given to students who will be attending UT Austin. Final selection is made by committee. U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants for student positions in our research laboratories will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet elibility requirements for access to classified information. These are security sensitive positions; conviction verification will be conducted on the applicant selected. |
