Job Description
Technical writer/editor position for undergraduate student available at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin (ARL:UT). Student will work with full-time staff to provide assistance in writing, maintaining, and preparing technical documentations for high frequency active sonar systems. Student will be responsible for writing, editing, and maintaining internal style guides, wikis, and other technical documents as needed. Student may assist in supporting graphic design, photography, and videography for internal publication.

Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Current enrollment in a degree program in writing, communications, or other related field
- Position requires strong organization skills and focus, an ability to learn new or unfamiliar software, including but not limited to Madcap Flare, Adobe Photoshop, and Gitlab
